The all-time high of Ark in 2018
The price of the Ark currency climbed to a peak in January 2018 at just above US$ 10.9. At this trading price, the coin reached a market capitalization of over US$ 923 million. This put Ark around certain other digital currencies, such as DigiByte, 0x, Dent, Augur and HyperCash, among others.
Arks all-time high compared to Bitcoin and the most renowned companies worldwide
Bitcoin, by far the largest cryptocurrency at the time, had a market capitalization of US$ 245 billion on that day. Apple Inc., one of the most highly valued brands in the world, stood at US$ 887 billion. And Volkswagen AG, the world’s largest vehicle manufacturer as of 2018, at US$ 109 billion.

March 2019: an interesting date following the big cryptocurrency crash
On 1 March 2019, the price of Ark stood at over US$ 0.58 with a market capitalization of over US$ 62 million. A drop down to approximately 5.3 percent compared with the highest trading price described above.
Around that time, Ethereum dropped to about 9.7 and Bitcoin to approximately 19.5 percent of their all-time-high trading prices.
