Bitradio is a very small cryptocurrency. Featuring a market capitalization of just above fifty thousand US dollars in early October 2020, it had captured less than 0.0001 percent of the digital currency market.¹ BRO is its ticker symbol.

Bitradio was introduced by the user coinpool_de at bitcointalk.org on 19 March 2017. coinmarketcap.com subsequently began the gathering of real-time trading data in July 2017.

Trading Volume & Market Capitalization

For example, Bitradio had an average trading volume of nearly US$ 72.4 per day for the first trimester of 2019. This figure came to over US$ 8,700 during the same period in 2018. In other words, the previous/prior volume growth has almost entirely receded.

The average market capitalization during the first trimester of 2019 equated to just above US$ 146 k. In the same time frame of 2018, this figure came to just above US$ 2.3 m. The corresponding drop down in market capitalization was 93.7 percent.

Bitcoin, by far the largest cryptocurrency at the time, had a market capitalization of US$ 235 billion on that day. Apple Inc., one of the most highly valued brands in the world, stood at US$ 901 billion. And Volkswagen AG, the world’s largest vehicle manufacturer as of 2018, at US$ 111 billion.

Bitcoin dropped down to approximately 19.5 and Ethereum to about 9.7 percent of their all-time-high trading prices around that time.
