Internxt was launched by the user fvsegarra via bitcointalk.org on 8 August 2017. The gathering of real-time trading data by coinmarketcap.com subsequently launched in November 2017.

This section presents the quarterly averages (trimester) for trading volume, market capitalization and trading price for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Trading Volume & Market Capitalization
For example, the average trading volume of Internxt during the first trimester of 2019 equated to just above US$ 22 k per day. Over the same period the year before, this figure came to over US$ 44 k. The trading volume dropped by 50.1 percent accordingly.
The average market capitalization during the first trimester of 2019 equated to nearly US$ 950 k. In the same period of 2018, this figure came to over eight m. The corresponding drop down in market capitalization equated to 88.2 percent.
Trading Price
The average trading price during the first trimester of 2019 was just under US$ 1.63. In the same period of 2018, this figure came to over US$ 14.9. The corresponding downward price retracement equated to 89.1 percent.
The all-time high of Internxt in 2018
The Internxt currency climbed to a high in January 2018 at over US$ 37.0. The equivalent market capitalization of the token reached nearly US$ 9.6 million. This put Internxt in the ballpark of certain other digital currencies, such as CannabisCoin, XGOX, Opus, NuBits and Sociall, among others.
Internxts all-time high compared to Bitcoin and the most renowned companies worldwide
Bitcoin, by far the largest cryptocurrency at the time, had a market capitalization of US$ 217 billion on that day. Apple Inc., one of the most highly valued brands in the world, stood at US$ 908 billion. And Volkswagen AG, the world’s largest vehicle manufacturer as of 2018, at US$ 115 billion.

March 2019: an interesting date following the big cryptocurrency crash
On 1 March 2019, the price of Internxt stood at US$ 1.83 with a market capitalization of over one million US dollar. This is a drop down to approximately 4.9 percent compared with the highest trading price stated above.
Around that time, Ethereum dropped to about 9.7 and Bitcoin to approximately 19.5 percent of their all-time-high trading prices.
