This section presents the quarterly averages (trimester) for trading volume, market capitalization and trading price for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Trading Volume & Market Capitalization
For example, the average trading volume of Numeraire during the first trimester of 2019 equated to over US$ 51 k per day. This figure came to nearly US$ 1.7 m during the same time frame in the previous year. The corresponding downward retracement of trading volume equated to 97 percent.
The average market capitalization during the first trimester of 2019 equated to nearly US$ 5.8 m. In the same time frame of 2018, this figure came to nearly US$ 31.7 m. Market capitalization retraced down accordingly by 81.7 percent.
Trading Price
In the first trimester of 2019, the average trading price equated to just above US$ 4.50. This figure came to over US$ 27.0 during the same time frame of 2018. The corresponding price drop down equated to 83.3 percent.
The all-time high of Numeraire in 2020
The Numeraire currency reached a peak in August 2020 at just under US$ 66.4. The equivalent market capitalization of the token reached over US$ 150 million. This put Numeraire around certain other digital currencies, such as Ocean Protocol, Swipe, Balancer, Enjin Coin and Zelwin, among others.
Numeraires all-time high compared to Bitcoin and the most renowned companies worldwide
Bitcoin, by far the largest cryptocurrency at the time, had a market capitalization of US$ 209 billion on that day. Apple Inc., one of the most highly valued brands in the world, stood at US$ 2138 billion. And Volkswagen AG, the world’s largest vehicle manufacturer as of 2018, at US$ 90 billion.

The Numeraire-Token is not a native digital currency and is not created via mining. It has a maximum number of exactly eleven million US dollars tokens. Those interested in the source code should also take a look at the GitHub page.
