The ZrCoin currency climbed to a peak in December 2017 at US$ 6.81. The equivalent market capitalization of the token reached over US$ 7.5 million. This put ZrCoin around certain other digital currencies, such as HelloGold, Startcoin, Bitswift, ToaCoin and CVCoin, among others.

Bitcoin, by far the largest cryptocurrency at the time, had a market capitalization of US$ 266 billion on that day. Apple Inc., one of the most highly valued brands in the world, stood at US$ 881 billion. And Volkswagen AG, the world’s largest vehicle manufacturer as of 2018, at US$ 101 billion.

March 2019: an interesting date following the big cryptocurrency crash
On 1 March 2019, the price of ZrCoin stood at two with a market capitalization of nearly US$ 7.1 million. A retracement down to approximately 29.1 percent in comparison with the peak trading price stated above.
Bitcoin dropped down to approximately 19.5 and Ethereum to about 9.7 percent of their all-time-high trading prices around that time.

The ZrCoin-Token is not a native digital currency and is not created via mining. It has no maximum number of tokens, unlike Basic Attention Token, for example.
