Aeron is a medium sized cryptocurrency. Boasting a market capitalization of nearly 2.6 million US Dollar in early January 2020, it captured about 0.0013 percent of the market for digital currencies.^{1 2} The akronym is ARN.

On 10. August 2017 the user aeron introduced Aeron on bitcointalk.org. The gathering of realtime trading data by coinmarketcap.com subsequently launched in December 2017.

The Aeron-Token is not a native digital currency and is not created via the process of mining. It has the maximum number of exactly twenty million tokens.
