Olympic is a very small cryptocurrency. Featuring a market capitalization of nearly 4,800 US Dollar at the beginning of 2020, it captured less than 0.0001 percent of the market for digital currencies. 1 It carries the acronym OLMP.

On 21. February 2018 Olympic was introduced on bitcointalk.org by the user rawdod. The tracking of realtime trading data by coinmarketcap.com subsequently started in October 2018.

The Olympic-Coin is a native coin and is created via the process of mining. It has no maximum supply of coins, such as – for example – Litecoin.
