The OST currency climbed to a high in January 2018 at just under US$ 0.88. The equivalent market capitalization of the token reached nearly US$ 207 million. This put OST in the ballpark of certain other digital currencies, such as Pillar, Skycoin, Raiden Network Token, SophiaTX and Storj, among others.

On 1 March 2019, the price of OST stood at US$ 0.023477 with a market capitalization of nearly US$ 12.1 million. A drop down to approximately 2.7 percent compared with the peak trading price stated above.
Bitcoin dropped down to approximately 19.5 and Ethereum to about 9.7 percent of their all-time-high trading prices around that time.
